Jack Fairman (GBR) driving the Rob Walker owned four-wheel drive Ferguson P99. Late in the race Fairman sacrificed his car to Stirling Moss (GBR). Whilst this was allowed Moss was subsequently disqualified for receiving a push start in the pits.

Stirling Moss (GBR) Rob Walker Lotus had a fraught race, running second in his own car until retiring on lap 44 with a broken brake pipe. Undeterred he took over Jack FirmanÕs (GBR) Rob Walker owned four-wheel drive Ferguson P99, but was subsequently disqualified for receiving a push start in the pits.
